In the year of 2008 Apostles society for social development ministries, have started a church planting ministry and the year of 2008, the Apostles society for social development mission, have start with a one house church in village jamary and the year of 2010 -2014, we have already established 30 village house churches; we now have house churches in different villages to spread the gospel and our pastors and missionaries working thus far. There are currently several churches in India who work together to find potential locations for missions operations. India is a Hindu largest country. Under the Interim Constitution proposed thereafter, India has now converted its status to a secular state, which is a big step forward towards religious freedom and tolerance, although there is still a lot of persecution towards minority religious groups, such as Christianity. Christians in India face problems of harassment and social discrimination from society at large.
You can get involved in our church planning program in India with the goal to spread the love of Jesus to local communities through evangelism and community support oriented activities. Individual volunteers as well as larger groups can sign up for volunteer experience program with these local house churches and their missionary outreach programs, using each volunteer’s individual experience and passion to contribute to the ever expanding Christian community in India. We are commanded, “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20.
WE BELIEVE ABOUT CHURCH PLANTING
Church planting is simply the outgrowth or fruit of Christian evangelism. Once again, the ministry of an Apostle Paul the apostle gives us an excellent picture and example of church planting. Paul would enter a city and begin to preach the Gospel wherever he found people who would listen to his message. Sometimes in Jewish Synagogues, in the market place, or down by the river where the women had gathered. Wherever he found a listening ear. As Paul preached the Good News of God's offer of salvation to all men, women and children, some of those who heard Paul preach believed the Gospel and were converted. They got gloriously saved and filled with the Holy Spirit! Those who believed drew near to Paul and his companions, and began to gather around Paul for further teaching and instruction. A new church was planted! A new gathering of the Saints! There were no church buildings, or high powered and slick programs, or religious ceremonies! Just simple gatherings of new believers who were hungry for the truth of God's Word. Gatherings of new believers who were hungry for fellowship with their new found brothers and sisters in Christ. They had become the family of God, and they loved their family gatherings! A new church plant was simply a new family gathering! Out of that new family gathering grew the outpouring of the fruit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The body of Christ building itself up in love of Christ Jesus, Amen! It is just that simple!
